"Unfortunately I have been coming to this office for years and frankly it’s always been terrible with the exception of Dr. Karim. She is the only reason why we have stayed. I have put off writing this review for a while but today was my breaking point. I tried to get my daughter in for a possible pink eye situation today & because we have new insurance & the Dr. Karim wasn’t listed they wouldn’t take her. I explained I would call immediately but was told they couldn’t book the Appt until the doctor was changed over. This is after years of constant bad care from this office. One time I was asked to pay a fee to have my daughters records sent to her school. Another time when I requested her records, I was only sent half of them because the front desk couldn’t bother to look further & send her entire record. A particular memorable time, was when the black male doctor decided that he would lecture my family on how black families are supposed to eat (I’m also black) and then went on to judge my little girl, she was 8 at the time. A complete arrogant jerk. We’ve never gone to him again within the practice. The front desk has always been rude, lazy & honestly very unkind. Making it difficult at every turn for me to get my daughter seen, EVEN WHEN IT HAS BEEN AN EMERGENCY!!! It’s just really a shame because my daughter is now a teen & we have had to suffer this Pediatrician for years. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PEDIATRICIAN if you value service, care & overall kindness."

"I just had to write this review because I chose this pediatric clinic based on such great reviews. The front desk staff are unprofessional and looked confused when I asked them to speak with Dr. Vance. They did not even greet us when we came in. Nurse Priyanka was also really terrible, did not introduce herself at all (no name or title) and did not take my son's head measurement (she either forgot or something else but nobody knows why she didn't take it). Dr. Vance was defensive from the start and was sassy. She was not professional when receiving feedback and made a referral for my son to see a specialist without even receiving his medical records or getting detailed information. We had the worst experience and they seemed to be shocked that a toddler does not like getting his shots or getting measurements taken. They do not know how to work with children with special needs or toddlers in general since they have big emotions and don't know how to handle it. When I gave this feedback to Dr. Vance she told me she can't accommodate my "special requests" and as far as I know these are not special requests, just the basics I would expect at any practice. Dr. Vance was not receptive to feedback and gave a lot of attitude. We are changing pediatricians! Be warned that this clinic is not all the hype that the reviews give the impression of."

"I wish I could give it a zero star. The staff is really unresponsive the doctors are unreachable you cannot talk to your doctor or any other doctor or atleast a counselor not even by phone. Everytime you call the front desk will pick up your phone and they will just listen to what you say but they will do nothing to help you or atleast guide you. Everytime my son gets sick he ends up in emergency room because if I call them and tell them about my son's sickness it will take them atleast a week or two to get back to me. Very irresponsible they do not care about your child's health at all."

"I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Mika! My child has been seeing Dr. Mika Hiramatsu for two years now, and every visit has been a great experience. Dr. Mika is a compassionate and caring doctor who truly listens to her patients and takes the time to address any concerns. My child has always felt comfortable and at ease with Dr. Mika, and I appreciate the way she explains medical concepts in a way that is easy to understand both for myself and my child. Dr. Mika has a great bedside manner and is always patient and kind, which makes a big difference for a child who may be nervous about going to the doctor. Dr. Mika is also very thorough in her examinations and always goes above and beyond to ensure that my child is healthy and happy. She is knowledgeable and up-to-date on the latest medical research, and I trust her completely with my child's health. I would highly recommend Dr. Mika to any parent looking for a kind, caring, and knowledgeable doctor for their child. She truly is the best!""
