"A very sad day today. Made as good as it could get by the WONDERFUL folks at Panama Equine Hospital. Dr. Pipkin is a marvel of common-sense, horse knowledge and caring. I cannot say enough good things about my first-ever visit to them. My poor boy had to be put down due to a fluke intestinal deal and the wealth of knowledge that Dr. Pipkin personally conveyed to me plus the personal touch from all of the staff was amazing. Dr. P was caring, spoke to me throughout every step, every test and told me what she was looking for, what she saw, the good/bad, his chances and options and was upfront about costs so that I could make an informed decision. She kept me involved and tried her darndest to save my boy (she is no quitter). She also gave me the information I needed to make the right decision when the time came. She spent a lot of time even though we were an emergency and she had a fully booked day at the clinic. She called me personally multiple times throughout the day, never rushed me and answered every one of my questions plus gave me incredible insights and advice. Bakersfield is lucky to have Dr. P and the staff at Panama Equine."
