"I would like to express my disappointment with the punctuality policy at this veterinary clinic. It came as a shock to me that even being just 11 minutes late, which is a mere one minute past their policy, would result in a requirement to reschedule. This felt inconsiderate and evil, especially in a place where the well-being of animals should be paramount, they showed no compassion. It's disheartening to know that a pet in distress might be turned away over a super minor delay, particularly when I've been a loyal customer with numerous visits. While I understand the importance of adhering to schedules, it's essential to consider the circumstances as well. On the day of my appointment, unforeseen construction on N Lower Sacramento Rd caused the delay, which was beyond my control and most definitely not my sick dogs fault. I believe it would have been more reasonable to impose a late fee, rather than putting my dog's health at risk over a matter of one minute. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, to the extent that I would have rated this establishment lower than the minimum allowed if possible and will become an advocate of my experience to the local community. I spoke to a family in the waiting room whom too had an appointment at 2:00 and we’re still waiting to be checked in. I was informed that Dr. Webster, the owner, made this policy decision, and I feel compelled to mention this. Additionally, my interaction with Mack at the front desk, who seemed to derive satisfaction from enforcing this policy, added to my frustration."
