"Cancelled twice on me. She said she was a exposure therapist and turned out she wasnt and couldnt just tell me up front so now im stuck needing help and she cant even help me! I think she really isnt after the clients best interest"

"My ex wife and I saw this therapist to try to work through our issues. In multiple sessions she said divorce was ok and basically said it worked out great for her and she is a lot happier with husband #2. I can see her mentioning it once that divorce is ok, but multiple times and that it worked out great for her is a bit unprofessional. She also stated her job was to help us work on our issues, not to help us stay together. If you actually want to save your marriage, she is not the right person to see. She said we couldnt talk about our issues outside of therapy, which we only went to once a week. I eventually said this wasnt working and we should get some homework, which she was about to give us. It was to list our priorities. So next session, we listed out in order what we prioritize and at the end she goes did you learn something from that lol I would think she would saying something more helpful like based on our differences these conflicts can occur and try to relate it back to the issues we are having, but nope! She was good at listening to us, giving each other a turn to speak, and creating a safe space to talk, but she never helped us resolve any issues, just talk about them."
