"I have a friend with a rare brain disease requiring multiple surgeries under the supervision of some of the world’s top surgeons. Until recently she worked for ACES Autism Therapy in Rowland Heights, a company whose reason for existence is working with neurodivergent people. When my friend presented a letter from her doctor explaining her situation to her employers, they terminated her employment. They locked her out of her accounts, ignored her attempts to communicate with them, even refused to allow her to use the restroom. If this is how ACES treats employees, I can’t help but wonder how they treat their patients. There are undoubtedly better options out there for autism therapy services."
"Unethical practices. The problem with this company is very simple. They do not value their employees. They actually don’t value them enough that they won’t take a medical note from a doctor serious. And will terminate an employee for medical reasons and not even have the courtesy to let them know that their contract is over. Just lock a person out of accounts and ghost them. Staff at the Rowland Heights office are rude, have poor attitudes, and won’t even let a former employee use the restroom. Several other employees are looking for jobs elsewhere, I wish them better. This place is an unorganized mess."
