"you won’t be disappointed by the food here but portions were tiny for the price. service was pretty good but felt like they tried too hard to upsell us, cheapening the experience. overall, would come back only if i had an unlimited budget but there are better spots in the city. mushroom empanada: great textures and flavor. loved the accompanying dip. ko ko wings: impressed by the unique flavor and was well fried. vinegar like dip paired well to add some liquid. pricy. chicken kelaguen: unassuming looking taco but packed with flavor. simple but still hit the spot. banana donuts: top tier dessert, bananas well fried without too much dough and the whipped cream was some of the best i’ve had (i don’t usually like whipped cream) mulled wine: skip this, nothing special"

"Delighting my way through Prubechu’s menu with each visit. Delicious takes on traditional dishes or added freshness to American favorites with Chamorro spicing. Memorable food from an accomplished kitchen. Kind and knowledgeable service. Lovely atmosphere. A gem at 18th and Mission with indoor and outdoor seating ample with leafy plants and fabrics that evoke Guam. I could mention the eggplant dish or the grits or anything really because nothing disappoints. Clear favorite."

"This was my first time having Guam food! The staff were very friendly and more than happy to talk about their background. There's a nice covered outdoor seating area with cute plants and there was live music when I went. I very much enjoyed the food as well. I got the Tinaktak (coconut beef, green beans, and noodles), Lechen Birenghenas (BBQ eggplant), and Crispy pork belly (was a little tough to chew). all were very flavorful and a bit on the heavier side."

"The Guam with a view cocktail was refreshing. The cassava in coconut milk was excellent. The yams are good but def not worth the price - skip it. The noodles are excellent and filling. Service was solid and accommodating of dietary restrictions"

"The vibe here is amazing! Nice light music accompanying the lunch on the cute patio. I have never tried this cuisine before, but both dishes surprised me a lot! The shrimp and grits has an incredibly deep savory flavor. The shrimps were perfectly grilled and not over cooked. The crispy pork belly was so well done, and truly great texture. Will definitely come back!"
