"Innovative Mixed Martial Arts (IMMA) is simply amazing!! My 2 kids are attending classes currently and my third child has done private lessons with Sensei Nunneley in the past. We love this school for the following reasons: (1) The curriculum is a mixture of various martial arts disciplines. You get the best techniques of all the various types martial arts. (2) My kids’ self-confidence has increased exponentially since they started training at IMMA. My kids see themselves as athletes, disciplined individuals and leaders. (3) The teachers at IMMA are so patient, caring, kind and make martial arts fun! (4) The school curriculum is not only about martial arts, but they also talk about other life skills and values such as leadership, friendship, loyalty, and self discipline with the students. (5) They offer a variety of classes at various times of day. (6) There are no hidden fees such a extra belt fees or testing fees. You pay one flat monthly rate only. There are no contracts either. I could go on and on about how amazing this school is. We’ve been a part of this school for many years now and we’ve been nothing but pleased. "“Fun” and “happy” aren’t words one usually associates with martial arts. However, those are the two words that come to mind first when thinking of my two sons’ experience at Innovative Martial Arts. To be honest, I wasn’t too sure about having my boys learn martial arts. I have to say, though, my mind was changed quite quickly. Over the last three years I have watched my sons learn new skills and increase their strength, confidence, and their ability to persevere when things get difficult. Jake Nunneley, owner and instructor at Innovative, is to be credited for this. He is positive and encouraging in his instruction and is one of the most patient people I have ever met. Although they work hard, his classes are fun, which keeps the kids wanting to come back and learn more. Aside from the positive atmosphere, I also appreciate the flexibility in scheduling. Classes are held 6 days a week and you are free to choose the classes that fit best with your schedule. I also appreciate the fact that there are no testing/belt fees. I highly recommend Innovative Martial Arts. I can’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else."
