"Beware of the current "Bully Culture" being enabled and supported by "leadership" in the Day / School Program at EM (Rancho Cucamonga). My child was bullied, concussed, and had his equipment screwed with by more than one student. When he finally stood up to his "Main" bully, leadership circled the wagons, enabled and protected the bully, and proceeded to assassinate my son's character while kicking him out. There are a number of local options that will facilitate a vastly more positive and safe environment for your child to develop and build confidence, as they strive towards their educational / athletic goals. EM and their current "Leadership" was the second worst thing that has ever happened to my child. Don't let the flashy new equipment fool you. They are inept when it comes to proper supervision, and student safety, as it pertains to bullying. You should also note that the Academic portion of their Program is run through the Pomona Unified School District, which has also left much to be desired. (I stress "Leadership" not the "Academic" Teachers" to be fair). I'm sure there are plenty who may be having a better experience than my son, but you never know if your child will be the next "one" to be bullied. My advice to you would be to MAKE SURE TO DOCUMENT EVERYTHING IN WRITING should your child be bullied, harassed, etc. at EM (Rancho Cucamonga). They are slippery when it comes to documenting their shortcomings. This should be the happiest time of any child's life. Make sure they are enjoying the journey in a positive and safe environment. The current "Leadership" (at EM Rancho Cucamonga) is uninspiring, out of touch, and self serving. Feel free to contact me for more information on our "experience". I'd be glad to help."
