About Us
Welcome to USSD’s Foothill Ranch Karate Studio located at 26756 Portola Parkway in Lake Forest, California. Our spacious and child-safe training area, along with our dedicated teachers, offer a welcoming environment for students of all ages. Whether you are a beginner or experienced martial artist, our program has something to offer you. With a combination of Private, Team, and Group lessons, we can accommodate any schedule.
Our one-on-one training with a USSD black belt sensei will help you progress at a faster rate. All of our instructors are accomplished USSD students who have become instructors themselves. We offer classes and one-on-one instruction for everyone, as we believe karate and martial arts are beneficial to all age groups.
Through martial arts training, students learn self-discipline, self-confidence, focus, and leadership skills. Our program also focuses on self-defense, agility, balance, endurance, flexibility, and strength. Teenagers benefit greatly from martial arts training as it prepares them for adulthood and builds their self-confidence.

Our belt ranking system sets achievable goals, motivating students and strengthening their sense of self-worth. We also provide a structured system of required material outline for each belt rank, ensuring continuous growth and development in the martial arts.

"Instructors are great here. They work with all families and their hectic schedules. The kids have so much fun. Prices are average, contracts are not set in stone. If you're not happy with it, you can opt out anytime. Two group classes a week and a private one on one session a week. If you're not able to make your scheduled one on one you can reschedule, and you won't lose those. My son loves it here."
