Benicia Boxing & Martial Arts is a premier gym located at 2002 Columbus Parkway in Benicia, California. Our studio offers training for men, women, and children of all ages in boxing, kenpo karate, jiu-jitsu, and close quarters combat. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your fitness and self-defense goals in a fun and safe environment.

Whether you're looking to improve your striking skills, get a high cardio workout, or develop self-discipline and confidence, Benicia Boxing & Martial Arts has something for everyone. Our state-of-the-art facility and professional instructors create a positive and modern training atmosphere.

In addition to private and group instruction, we offer nightly boxing group classes to help you stay motivated and build camaraderie with fellow members. Our goal is to instill a high level of skill while imparting the traditions of respect, self-discipline, humility, and compassion.

Parents will be pleased to know that martial arts training can help children develop important listening and attention skills that are beneficial both in the classroom and beyond. Our Kenpo Karate program includes one-on-one training sessions to ensure each student's progress.

Join us for a free jiu-jitsu seminar on Wednesday, July 22 at 7:00pm, open to all BBMA members and non-members aged 12 and up. No gi required. We also congratulate Jesse Giri on his successful first fight and look forward to many more victories in the future.

"*Update* Frankly, I am UPSET! I knew we were leaving an incredible school when we moved, but it wasn't until we were looking in to new schools at our new location that it fully set in! The school as a whole, but especially Mr. Rios, have set the standard so high for what we are now looking for in a school, that I feel like we're searching for another unicorn in a once in a lifetime unicorn world! After trying out three schools so far, the quality of instruction, interaction, discipline, and respect lacks compared to what we're used to from this school. We've Vento SETTLED on a school to keep them practicing something they've grown to love from attending here, but our hearts will forever be here! If you're even a little bit thinking about getting your child(ren) in to martial arts, this is the school you want them to be at!!! April 2021: I cannot say enough good things about this karate school! Both of our daughters worked primarily with Mr. Rios, who is an amazing teacher, but all the instructors here are on that same level! Our kids were shy and timid in front of other people, even in front of us, but learning and practicing this art, paired with the individual and group instruction, gave them confidence, discipline, and drive! Even throughout the circumstances over the past year, the school has done everything they could to continue to provide quality instruction and stay within guidelines and parent's/student's comfort levels. Sadly, we're moving across the country, but I am forever grateful for the character and pride attending this school has given our children!"

"The owner Andy and all the teachers Mr. Rios, Miss Ortez, and Mr. Bradley are amazing it's definitely a family oriented atmosphere. They're great with teaching the children of all ages, not only do the kids learn self defense they also learn discipline, confidence, and how to work as a team. They also have boxing classes and Jujitsu would recommend it's for ALL ages."
