"The most horrible office staff my family has ever encountered. Shame on the doctors for hiring such ugly hearted people. Angela specifically is the worst humans we have ever met. Stay away from this office."

"Great experience - every time! I have been a patient with Dr. Tio for over 10 years. Due to the fact that I live 6 months of the year in Maui, it is not always easy to get an appointment, as Dr. Tio is booked up quite a bit. Every time I get to see her, I'm so impressed with how thorough she is, and the appointments with her never feel rushed. To me, it seems that she really cares for her patients and I feel like I am in safe hands with this Doctor, which -nowadays- is not a given, as many doctors are sloppy, rush through appointments, and want to sell their patient all kinds of (hormone and other...) treatments to make extra money. Not this one :) Unfortunately, she is not taking new patients, which is not ideal, because I wish I could send my daughter to her."

"The front office was just the worst staff I’ve ever encountered. It is hard because I absolutely adore Dr Tip, but fixing problems or speaking with the office staff is so difficult. I was extremely nice and was met with a harsh, disrespectful, and dismissive tone right off the bat. This happened on more than one occasion. I want to return to Dr Tio but I’m honestly afraid to go back because of the staff. I also tried multiple times to get them to get the doctor or nurse to call me but they never gave them the message."

"WORST STAFF PERSONALITIES. THE MOST RUDE PEOPLE WHEN DISCUSSING HEALTH CARE. My experience with Doctor Tio was phenomenal. She's an incredible Doctor, but the front desk staff have turned me OFF to going back."

"Extremely rude staff I had an appointment for 3:30 and showed up at 3:42 due to heavy traffic. I called the office twice to warn them and there was no answer. When I entered the office, Julia told me I had completely missed my appointment and that I would need to reschedule. She did not ask if I was in pain, if this was an emergency, etc. She was cold and completely rude. I had asked if there is anyway to fit me today since I took off work and drove an hour and she said no because you completely missed your appointment. I am not sure how that is possible if I am 12 minutes late. I asked if she can see if the doctor could squeeze me in and she said she would ask. I waited until 4:15 for them to then tell me the Dr. is not able to do anything. Meanwhile, while I was in the waiting room they were busy talking and did not answer any of the phone calls, so I’m not sure how anyone would have been able to reach them. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW DOCTOR, I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST THIS OFFICE. Unfortunately having rude front office staff like Julia affects the quality of the office. If Dr. Hyman wants to retain her patients, I advise she hire well trained, empathetic staff members who know how to communicate with patients and allot appointment slots longer than 12 minutes."
