"What a horrible experience I have had. I would not recommend coming here to get your IUD removed just in case of complications. She is not experienced in that. She told me I was only the third patient she's ever had this happen to. I had voiced my concern before the surgery what if the arm moved and she was overly confident that it wouldn't have. I wish that she would've done an ultrasound to check before having this unnecessary surgery because the arm wasn't even found and now I'm dealing with horrible pelvic pain and bleeding for a week and probably will take longer to fully heal. And she gets paid out by my insurance anyway. "Take a Norco to get your mind off of it" she said when I complained about my pain. She offered to do a pelvic checkup at my post-op but there's no way in hell I'm letting her do anything to me after this experience. This whole thing could've been handled way differently. I did not feel like she took much care in my well-being and felt more like a guinea pig. She was overly confident about this whole situation and I hope this experience has humbled her a little bit."

"Nancy Towbin and her staff have problems respecting their patients time. The doctor was late to my second appointment with her, she stated she ran out of gas in her car. Today I had a follow up appointment for the surgery I had with Nancy Towbin that the office scheduled without even calling me to see if I was even available to make that appointment. Then they didn't show up, they claimed their door was not working, no sign on the door or anything. As I was on my way home I saw the doctor Nancy Towbin and her staff member, they were not even at the building, they were just showing up to work which aggravated me so much I could even bring it up when they called me to tell me about the door. Hopefully my surgery worked cause I have no intensions of going back here. My appointment was at 7am and I've been up since 530am to be there on time and I am not normally up till 630am, so yes I'm very fustrated. They asked if I wanted to come back, NO, your now behind schedule and I haven't eaten breakfast and my kid has to be dropped off at school, BE ON TIME!"

"Unfortunately I need to discourage you from seeking services from Dr Towbin. I had an extremely traumatic experience with an in office procedure that should never had been attempted without anesthesia. It felt like torture! It appears others have been satisfied with her care but I do NOT recommend the risk. It would be in your best interest to choose another provider."
