As a gynecologist, he's experienced, knowledgeable, keeps up to date with new data, and sees things from the patient's perspective. He cares about his patients well being, listens extremely well and more impressively, he remembers everything which is pretty incredible. As an integrative doctor, he goes above and beyond to help his patients with non-gynecological issues they're experiencing. He goes over everything, ensures patients understand the game plan going forward and even suggests ways to save money. Heck, he offered better advice to me than my specialists at a prominent medical institution in the area and seems to actually want to help, not just go through the motion like other doctors who treat patients like a number. He dealt with me with the utmost patience, prescribed all necessary tests to build my medical history. "I have known Dr. Sam Young for over 20 years. He is very dedicated to his patients and I was one of his patients. When I went into labor, Dr. Young was at the end of an overnight shift, just as I got to the hospital. He determined that it was going to be awhile before I delivered so he left, but monitored my progress throughout the day, and came back to the hospital 12+ hours later to deliver my daughter. It meant a lot to have him deliver her. I moved and unfortunately, no longer had Kaiser, but I am so happy to know that he has own practice now, and not just for OB/GYN care. "He is the best west meets east doctor taking his decade (s) long Kaiser experience and weaving in acupuncture and Frequency Micro Current. Dr. Young is a listener and problem solver and does way more then just follow a standard protocol.
