Lee's Sandwiches

"Got breakfast croissant sandwich that I threw it away. The croissant was extremely hard and old. I did not see one employee wash their hands. Most of the vietnamese employees are fresh off the boat and has the same don't care attitude as if they were in vietnam."

"Must be new owners or something. Looks like the other more recent reviews are bad as well. Stingy with the beverages. It's mostly full of just ice. Baguette was unusually stale. Meat pieces were sparse and dry. Pork looked like it was grilled in the morning and left sitting out like some dried beef jerky. It is sad to see such an iconic store location turn so bad since the pandemic. Bathroom is still blocked off and seating areas are gone. What a shame. I hope the owner could wake up and strive to bring back quality."

"I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this is definitely warranted- please see pics for ridiculous scraps of meat in the sandwiches. Being half Vietnamese, I should know better than going here for overpriced food that you can get for half the price at other local spots. But it was convenient and right across the street from the little pharmacy where we ended up for vaccinations (Bolsa Express Pharmacy A++). $6 Vietnamese sandwiches with practically no meat. Veggies/pickles for 3 sandwiches. Well, at least it's probably more healthy to have less meat :( but I would have liked a little more sustanance."

"Right in the heart of little Saigon Lees sandwiches never disappoints!!!!! There is also an express one down the street in the plaza. Service and food is “on fleek” on point lol Well made and fast!!! Also tons of snacks that are imported in so it’s a great place to stock up. Lee’s ice coffe is legit . And the Roastery is right next-door so you can choose any type of grind. Little Saigon is very small but this is one of those places that makes it worth the visit. Parking is abundant. Sign up to five stars which they use so you can get your points!!! Love lees!!! And hope maybe one day there will be one in Los Angeles proper !!"
