"Internet at this property is not reliable if you require work from home, homeschooling, or using smart home devices (such as smart air fryers, smart bulbs, Ring, etc). We've had outages once a month or once every other month. Property signed an exclusivity contract with WireStar to provide tenants with internet service. You can't install and setup with other internet providers. Basically, a monopolized loophole. You're provided with internet first day of moving in (super convenient), however this is at the expense of using their WiFi access points, and ethernet jacks provided inside the units... all connect to WireStar's corporate switch and router equipment located at apartment property in a locked closet where the fiber lines come in from the underground parking garage in a small square box from the outside fiber pedestal located by the main busy road. This means all your secure data gets piped to WireStar's corporate switch logs and data between your own personal equipment inside your apartment unit, and the "internet provided" utility connection from outside the premise. It hits outside datacenters as any other internet provider, but this feels like a completely controlled and fenced internet connection. In response to the FCC's repeal of net neutrality by the Trump administration in 2018, several states have enacted their own net neutrality laws. As of February 2024, five states (California, Oregon, Maine, Vermont, and Washington) have net neutrality laws in place. The lack of federal net neutrality rules means that ISPs have greater freedom to manage their networks as they see fit. This could lead to practices like: Blocking specific websites or services: ISPs could block access to certain websites or services, potentially limiting users' access to information and resources. Throttling specific content: ISPs could slow down the delivery of certain types of content, such as video streaming or online gaming. Offering tiered internet plans: ISPs could offer different tiers of internet service with varying speeds and data caps, potentially creating an "internet fast lane" for those who can afford it."

"I was one of the first to move in(2022). This is a very nice place but it didn't last long. The units started filling up fast and the kids are out of control. The parents lock them out and they run wild trashing the place bc they are bored. Dog poop just in front of the elevators, even the hallways, piles of trash in hallways and garage area. I really hope with the new cameras installed the management team will start kicking people out for their behavior. I work every day and it is not pleasant to come home too. It's really sad bc this is a very nice looking apartment."
