"The Reinhardt canyon is so beautiful! I have often wondered if I should not have even posted photos for this area. It is such a beautiful place. I hope that it doesn’t get congested and Californicated. We are losing so much beautiful land to concrete and steel as it is."

"Not sure how old it is, but the defense line around the stone is of respectful quality and dimensions ;) Also, there are SO many bright flowers, especially for such a hot desert (15.Apr)!"

"It's pretty difficult to get a solid view, but what do you expect with 2 fences surrounding it? Unfortunately, this has been tampered with in the past, hence the extra and very necessary protection around it... "This place makes for a nice short hike on pavement or longer if you decide to go down one of the unmarked dirt trails. The maze stone is about 5 - 10 min walk (depending on speed) up hill, to your right, not far off the pavement. The further up you walk, the more beautiful the views. But always look out for snakes. Have seen a couple rattlesnakes here over the years,even on the main path."
