"Under Judy’s supervision this Post Office has greatly improved. Well done all!"

"Postmaster Judy Bartlett went out of her way to correct an error made by San Anselmo post office, and Nicoletta is always very helpful whenever I go into the Fairfax office. Huge improvement to prior experiences with some previous employees, and antithesis of the San Anselmo office, which is terribly hostile and continually incompetent."

"I witnessed a person being turned away from the postoffice because they didn't get in their 'order' in before 4.30 - even though the post office closes at 5pm. They have some in-house policy to only conduct certain transactions before 4.30. So if you want to get anything done here that will take time make sure you get there before 4.30. I have NEVER seen anything like that in any other post office. Usually the practice is to close the line at the last person who comes in at 5pm, and then serve each person regardless of what service they require until all the customers are helped. I find the some of the staff at this post office unhelpful and unfriendly so I've started to go to another post office with better service."

"Brought in abook to mail and identified it as a book. Instead of the book rate being quoted to me, I was told the first class rate. When I objected to this, the manager came out from the back and said the agent did it correctly, that the first class rate is to be provided as well. I told her I specifically stated that it was a book. She indicated that because I didn't say I wanted to send it as a book under the book rate that what the agent did was correct and that is the way they're trained. I told her at two other local post offices that never has happened and they have been helpful and friendly and facilatory. She said "Well they did it wrong." I said how about "Customer Service" attitude and trying to help your customers. She walked away. The agent was polite and very nice. The manager does not belong in a position in which customer service is a goal. Post office should find a manger who is there to serve the public rather than a hostile suoervisor who I sense intimidates the staff."

"Horrible customer service. They INTENTIONALLY do everything at a snails pace because they don't care about good customer service. Purchased a $600 money order. Gave them exactly $602 in cash. Lady at the counter tells me 'You have to count it in front of me' Explained to her I had already counted twice, asked her 'Don't you have to count it?" She says 'Yes, I will count it again after you count it' What planet did these people drop down from? Prime example of making such a simple transaction a headache inducer. The United States Postal Service should be ashamed of themselves for how they treat the public. Just awful"
