"I was a former mail carrier with USPS so I understand they will never read this or even care to read any type of reviews. No matter if you call to complain, most of the time nothing will be done unless you're lucky. I really dislike my mail lady because she works fast which is great... but she is not accurate. She delivers my parcels to other people's door step or she'll leave my parcel locker key in a different resident's mailbox. This has happened multiple times and guess what? Even if I complain nothing will happen because these regular carriers who've been carrying for years don't change their habits. It is sadly frustrating because they don't care. My mail lady is a rural carrier and the way it works is they're a salaried worker. They get paid for the route, so if they finish an 8 hour route in 5 hours, they will still get paid the full 8 hours. The only downside to being a rural carrier is if they're smacked with tons of parcel and mail and work over the 8 hours, they don't get overtime. That's why your rural carrier is probably working as fast as possible and if they mess up? Nothing happens or they get a slap on the wrist. The post office can't fire people because they REALLY need people due to a lot of offices being understaffed. Also the union heavily protects them so they can't get fired. So if your carrier sucks guess what, you probably ain't going to get a new regular for the next few years which could range from 1-20+ year."
