"New to the state of Wisconsin, child accepted in school near WGBTL. Initial move-in the model/pictures versus reality is deceptive. My unit was not clean, dog hair, tobacco residue on bathroom walls and Appliance extremely outdated. An overpriced 1bedroom, with utilities roughly $150-$200 during cold months. This is with me working full time. No one’s home between 8-5p on average. My apartment has flooded. Has Rodent issue outside our patio. Bathroom light flickered for months before we finally resolved. Car was towed $356, office failed to give parking permit. At one point, I scheduled a meeting, showed up and office was closed. Tried to follow up to reschedule but no response. I will say the new office manager has been better at responding. If I knew more about surrounding area I would’ve broke my lease long time ago!"

"It was bold of WG to send me a link to a survey because boy. Am I displeased. Our furnace stops working on a Friday, the day of the massive snow storm. Temps drop to the negatives and we get multiple notifications that maintenance crews are working to restore heat and power. We follow directions and submit a request but this is a snow emergency so we’re not pushy. I happen to have two space heaters so we’re not freezing except at night when we don’t run them because of the fire risk. Meanwhile the snow removal was abysmal. We wait. The whole week of temperatures in the negatives no one comes to fix our furnace. We start to call. They say they’ll send someone over, but no one comes. Then they send someone who drops off two space heaters outside our door! No one still arrives to fix our furnace. It has now been a week and two days. Finally on Monday, after I have had to move a temperature sensitive instrument out of the apartment and caught a cold, they arrive to fix our furnace which is indeed, broken. After they’ve let themselves into our apartment (we’re both gone at work) they take back the two heaters they dropped off, but ALSO take my own heater, which, unlike theirs, is not labeled and is my own private property. I cannot believe during the coldest week of the year this mess happened. Very disappointed."

"It seems that things are improving in regards to maitanance requests and office responce (for me). They have resolved my plumbing issues in a timely matter. As far as some other issues in the past it has taken them two or three times to correct, i.e outdoor lighting, snow removal, door closures. I will give them an improvement award for improvement, I hope this will be the right trend."

"So glad to be moved out of this place! From the start the office staff was extremely rude and unhelpful regularly. The package room system here is a joke! And the fines heavy if you mess up. The door locks on buildings are often defeated and not repaired for months on end. The management here is nearly unreachable. The will NOT answer the phone and force you to leave voicemails which are often left unanswered. Good luck finding an email address for this place, all the messages are sent by do not reply boxes. They hand out $50 fees like they're candy here, and you will get plenty of them! Often threatened with additional fees when "community" members don't follow rules (picking up dog poop). "Maintenance" of this "community" is two random guys ripping around in side by sides and beat up trucks band aid fixing stuff if they ever get to your request. Good luck getting your security deposit back! They have a fee for EVERYTHING, even when requesting the itemized list required by law, they will have it stated out to cover themselves, but screw you over!"

"We didn’t have a smoke detector the entire time we lived there. Even during their “annual smoke detector check” a month after we moved in, they didn’t provide one. Then they charged us for a new smoke detector and took that out of our security deposit when we moved out. That’s just one of many unbelievable things that happened here.."
