"3stars means good We stopped here for a glass of wine before dinner. Both wines were good and the server was very knowledgeable about them, answering our questions and making plenty of recommendations. I appreciate that they pick a small selection of good wines with a decent range, rather than giving you a menu with forty options that you're not likely to know anything about."

"I happened upon Barterra while strolling through downtown Half Moon Bay and am so glad I did. I had a wonderful time chatting with the owners while tasting wines. They have some really delicious wine choices available at a few different (and VERY reasonable) tasting prices. The dessert wines were especially interesting - the Lua Laranja was my favorite! I could tell the owners really loved being in this space and sharing wine with people. They get individual batches of wine produced for them from small local winemakers so it sounds like they rotate in some different offerings as well, which means I would definitely make this a repeat visit!"
