"I was shocked at how expensive this move to Montana was but the SRM&S quote was competitive and the final bill was close to the estimate. We experienced some damaged and lost items but it is unclear whether it was the packers or movers at fault. The packing itself went smoothly and the crew was very professional. The unpackers at the other end were not. Boxes were often not placed per the clear written box instructions, many items were not reassembled as promised and our bed was assembled incorrectly."

"I hired them through Allied Van Airlines. I'm glad they got me in touch with this company. Santa Rosa Moving and storage is a great company to choose for any move. I moved 2,400 miles and was a bit worried about getting a bad company. The price was great for the quality of service the whole team provided me with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My stuff got here promptly and without a scratch or any loss of items."

"This company went beyond my expectations! I can’t begin to tell you how exceptional my whole move went. Kim & Hanna took all my calls and professionally and patiently answered all my questions. My movers Stephen & Shaun went above and beyond any work ethic I’ve seen. I’ve been in business for myself for 30 years and would give anything to find workers 1/2 as wonderful as those two were! My move from the zoom quote, to all my possessions arriving on the earliest date that was quoted, damage free, astounded me! Everything was set up perfectly in my new home and they even fixed my new broken door! Thank you all, I am grateful for such a wonderful moving Co! I will tell all my family/friends GREAT things about you!"

"This was a cross country move and we were hoping for the best. From the word go things went extremely well. Henry got in touch with me and set up an evaluation of what we wanted to move. He was calm, professional and quite helpful. He explained what needed to be explained and we had a few items that were high value and he instructed me on how to manage and all those items especially my adaptive bike made it safely. The men who came to pack delicate items were amazing. They were all incredibly nice, professional and worked extremely hard packing and loading. Everything they packed was moved perfectly. On the other end, it was the same thing. The men who unloaded were incredible- professional, kind and super hard working. They finished in 2.5 hours. My only concern is whether the people who did the hard labor were paid well enough. I was happy to pay for a great move but I just hope this company realizes how much the actual teams on the ground is contributing to their success. I did go out of my way letting the reps i spoke to know."

"The first thing to know about moving is that you really have to surrender your soul (or whatever your belief system is) and trust that all your possessions are going to be handled carefully, packed, shipped and delivered by complete strangers and that you are paying complete strangers a lot of money to do this. Henry was my contact person for my out of state move from San Francisco, CA and he was very nice and clearly knew his stuff. I had a multitude of questions over the next several weeks as I went through the process of selecting movers. Henry responded quickly and accurately every single time. On my behalf, he personally handled getting a permit for the loading truck to park in front of my building (yes, the City of SF requires a permit for that kind of thing believe it or not). I had a lot of stuff. I mean A LOT OF STUFF. Henry and his crew of 5 men showed up to pack and load on a Wednesday and returned on Thursday to finish the job. All of this during a downpour of rain and cold weather in San Francisco - in the middle of a bus lane in busy SF. On the sidewalk. But everything was carefully packed and boxed, shrink-wrapped, covered and loaded onto the truck. This is where I had to surrender my soul. All of my possessions gone -- on their way to another state half way across the country -- in the hands of complete strangers. Two days before the scheduled delivery date at my destination, I got a call from the driver to confirm delivery. He called again the day before and again the morning of arrival. He brought 5 men with him and in less than 3 hours they had unloaded everything off the truck into my new home. During one of the worst snow storms in 10 years. But all my stuff was intact -- still carefully covered and packed and dry -- and unloaded with moving tarps and cloth so as not to get wet and they also put down rugs and mats on the floor throughout the house so that they would not get snow and ice on the new wood floors of my new house. 212 boxes/items. Not one single broken or missing thing. THEY ARE THE BEST. The best part: The cost of the move came in UNDER the estimate because I did some of the packing myself. Not that I will ever move again because the process itself is horrific, but I have to say Santa Rosa Moving & Storage came through for me 100% from start to finish. I don't understand the complaints other customers had -- my move went perfectly with Santa Rosa Moving & Storage!"
