"I was looking for a piano teacher in April of 2022. I was so lucky to find Vanessa. I love going to my lesson each week. Vanessa has a way of teaching me that just feels so right. Vanessa has been teaching for 20+ years and she absolutely knows what she is doing. But most of all you can tell she enjoys teaching. If I haven't practiced enough or if something is just hard for me to learn, Vanessa gets through to me and makes me want to get it or learn it without giving up. "I have been learning piano from Vanessa for almost ten years, and she has been an excellent teacher. She is always very approachable and knows how to effectively work with and communicate with students. Vanessa has consistently given me wonderful opportunities to showcase my piano skills at the annual recitals. She is very prepared and well-organized, which has enabled me to be successful at every recital. She has also given me multiple opportunities to play piano accompaniment for violin students, which has allowed me to develop a different skill as a student of piano. Additionally, Vanessa did an amazing job of preparing me for the ABRSM piano practical and theory exams. Because of the training I received from Vanessa, I felt confident that I could succeed in the exams.
