"This is our second week with All Star Swim Academy in Pleasanton. Simply put, All Star is excellent and my son is happy and thriving! Let me back up a little bit, so you'll understand just how amazing our experience has been so far! My son is autistic and at the time was non communicative with many sensory related fears. Three years ago, we started at American Swim Academy in Livermore which was traumatizing. They promised they worked with kids of special needs, took my money and lied! Each session was with a different teacher, none of the instructors took the time to break down instructions. They assumed that because he was autistic that he couldn't learn. They left him unattended, he wandered into the deeper section and he almost drowned. Due to this traumatic event, I still have to bath him in the kitchen sink because he panics around water. It's taken us almost four years to work up the nerve to try swimming again. At All Star Academy, Camille works the office and scheduling. She listened to our journey and was completely understanding of our needs. We work with Ms. Jess who is patient and instructs with calm and ease. In just two sessions, he is putting his face in the water, learning to breathe and turn over! For a parent of special needs, I can't stress how huge that is! I’m thankful to have found All Star and to be working with professionals that care like you are family!"
"Our daughter has had only 2 lessons and her skills have already improved significantly! She is 3.5 and has had a fear of water on her face. By the second lesson she was going all the way underwater and floating on her back! Her teacher Ms. Tania is so sweet, patient, and very clearly has a strategy in the way she 'plays' with our daughter to build her confidence. We are extremely happy and impressed so far. We are excited to see the outcome of her next lessons!!"
