"Armijo has done an excellent job growing with the community; Armijo started with 30 students in 1891 & today in 2016 it has 2600 students. Armijo High School is the only school in Solano County that offers the IB program. IB = International Baccalaureate "Through comprehensive and balanced curricula coupled with challenging assessments, the International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop the individual talents of young people and teach them to relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the world outside. Beyond intellectual rigor and high academic standards, strong emphasis is placed on the ideals of international understanding and responsible citizenship. To that end, IB students are focused on becoming critical and compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners and informed participants in local and world affairs.
