"Mr. Barr was contacted regarding my mother's trust. Rather than providing a calm and reasoned approach, he instigated a dispute between beneficiaries. Mr. Barr's demeanor smacked of someone trying to create conflict where none should exist. He claimed that my mother's house wasn't properly titled and that other issues in the trust would require court filings, all of which would drive up the legal fees. Contrary to his assertion, the house is properly titled (the county has verified as much) and the other "issues" he mentioned are all considered trivial under California trust law. None of them require the efforts he implied were necessary.
