"Look elsewhere! Had a consultation with Jake McAllister. He never bothered to call me at the scheduled time...I had to call him. He was unprofessional when he answered the call. He said "hi" in a 'what do you want' tone of voice. I think even McDonalds could answer the call with more professionalism and enthusiasm. He basically couldn't help me and was trying to direct me to talk another person in his law firm. Then finally, it was about the money. "IF you can get past the pushy sales pitch at your 'free consultation' and buy in ($5000 ante), don't expect much except for irregular bills (sometimes not billed for months and other times twice in a month) that are due in 4-5 days! Then if you can't pay in that time they'll threaten to drop you and leave you without an attorney after they've drained your bank accounts. There's no transparency about what to expect in fees. Closer look: their lawyers have billing quotas to meet, so look carefully at your invoices - they charge for their own administrative costs like "update client list" several times in one month. They turn over staff frequently and say you won't be charged for a paralegal taking over but then she asks for the same info as the last one and bills you for it. You probably won't have the same attorney through your case either because the good ones leave. Do yourself a favor and get a recommendation for a lawyer from someone you trust! It will save you thousands of dollars and a lot of stress. Look at their Yelp reviews."
