"I've been a customer of MFCU for over 20 years. Everyone here has always been professional and respectful except this last time. I patiently waited for the teller to do my banking needs. I also asked for information for a HELOC and a personal loan. I was told that someone would be with me in a bit. I was approached by a Mexican woman, I didn't get her name. You know how when meet someone and they warm you their smile? Well, that didn't happen. Immediately I felt a bit uncomfortable, like I was imposing on her time. I know the teller informed her I was interested in finding out about both, but I was If I was interest in one or the other. I said I was interested in finding out about both. It started feeling a bit more uneasy with her demeaner. So basically I got one word answers with an attitude. I asked for the rates for each type of loan and how long they take to close. I was told the personal loan in a few days and the HELOC 6 to 8 weeks and still with an attitude. I realized she was not willing to help and I told her it seemed she didn't really want to help out. By this time i had enough of unwillingness to help me out and told her I was walking out because of it. I will still go back to my branch, but I will never deal with her again."

Excessively long wait times, short hours for bank and call center, took weeks to get auto loan approved with 800+ credit at terrible terms, and ridiculously low ATM and transfer limits that cannot be changed. I’ve never had such a difficult banking experience, especially from a credit union. It’s like they make it nearly impossible to access your own money and waste your time in the process."

"If i could give no stars i would! I have been a mission fed member for 8 years always had the greatest customer service until I came to this branch. I went through the drive thru today to transfer money from my account to my daughters account both of us mission fed members. A lady name Alyssa working the drive thru with absolutely no customer service skills was completely rude. I did not have my daughters account number on me but i do the some transfer every month with out the account number they look at my account type in the amount i transfer monthly it comes up and they do it Been doing it for years and never had anyone tell.me the could not do it. She already looked perturbed wheb i came up to the window and was walking away was completely rude as she told me I can't help you. I told her I do this every month you are the first person who has ever told me that. Is that your own rule because you don't have the time to have good customer service. She has a terrible attitude and as a manager myself not someone I would want representing my company. I drove off went to the one on H street the lady transfered the money from my account to my daughters without me giving the account number but with her looking in my account took her all of 2 seconds its obvious Alyssa needs more training on customer service. I will not be using this branch ever again. Alyssa was my FIRST bad experience with Mission Fed!"
