"Well before going here I had high expectations, until they called me his third day of attending to say he can no longer attend because of his high energy and failure to follow directions. My bosses kid goes to this school and was having some of the same issues my kid was having as far as not being able to express themselves verbally being only 2 years olds I could imagine its quite difficult. before we enrolled I explained to the director that my son has little to no understanding of the words, NO! STOP! You know normal 2 year old behaviors according to his pediatricians and hundreds of others opinions I've read about. So that phone call to me at my work was naturally a surprise, you would have thought my kid tried to burn the school down, when I made things totally transparent about his habits, then she simply explained he kept running out of the room laughing and thinking it was funny, (ok Normal)! They have to chase him around to come in from the play ground, (ok Normal)! Plays ruff with his friends (ok Normal)! I break kids away from fighting in this age group at almost every event for that age range. Then goes on to say this environment isn't for him! I would have thought this would be the perfect place to enforce this type of thing with supposedly paid trained professional who know and understand child development but I assumed wrong. Its like telling a middle aged child in school your failing in math on day three, "Just Drop out, save yourself the trouble"! I mean I get it, who wants to come to work and actually work? Right? They made it seem as though they were dedicated to helping him excel but in actuality they really don't want to do more than they have to, totally understandable if I had to work with children all day I’d probably be stressed and exhausted but Id just choose another profession if I wasn't all in. So if your kids having any issues from former establishments or just adjusting etc. that you'd like there help with changing don't attend, they won't put in the work and effort if it takes more than 3 days. "I could not be happier with how my children have been taken care of here. The staff is wonderful, turnover is incredibly low, and the kids love it. Lots of fun field trips, my kids always have a fun story and everyone here clearly cares for and loves their kids. You won't be disappointed bringing your kids here."

"I am surprise there are no more reviews about Pooh Bear. My child has being at the Middleton Location since he was 8 weeks old. My experience is only wonderful things about both the facility and the staff. After visiting multiple day cares in Madison, I realized the rotation of childcares staff are very high. In most of the places the teachers I talked to had less than 1 year of tenure. Pooh Bear was different. Most of the Staff have worked at the same location for multiple years. Some of them more than 10 years at the same place! I choose this facility for his low rotation and turnover. Since my child started at Pooh Bear I have met multiple staff members. They made everything possible so I can stop every day to breastfeed my little one for 1 year. Every time I show up without notice I saw exactly the same. Staff members engage with Childs. None of them looking at cellphones. If I have to thing in the cons, I would say the size of the facility. Compare to other places Pooh Bear seems to be smaller, but for me (I am not an expert) it seems just right. They have two outside play areas, one for little babies and other for children. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. My experience with them gave me the peace of mind I need to work."
