"I easily rate Capitol Crating as a five-star company. When I read some of the negative reviews here I could not relate to them based on my own personal experience. My communication with Sean was excellent and his staff was friendly and professional. I had a large, fragile and valuable sculpture that needed to be shipped internationally. He quickly analyzed my packaging needs, sent me step-by-step images of the packaging in progress, and had the crate ready to be shipped well ahead of schedule. Sean’s bid was easily the most reasonable, and, I can’t imagine any company providing a more secure packaging and crating solution. Does Capitol Crating receive my highest recommendation …absolutely!"

"Bought a transmission and needed a place to ship it up to me in a different state. Found capital crating when searching. Called and talked to Sean and set up a time to have it dropped off. They put it on a pallet and wrapped it and sent it off in a timely manner. I received it no problems. All around a great experience. Would highly recommend Capital crating for your freight needs."

"Terrible attitude, unprofessional rude language with customer. Will change original quote as soon as job is taken. Will add handling fees, this fees, that fees as they go.. When you bring it up, response you will get is "you do not have to use us, if you wish in the future." Well, I will take your advice sir and will do exactly that. Avoid these guys, consider UPS or Navis."

"I asked for a quote from Sean and he only quotes an hourly rate. My experience with this is they charge whatever they feel like since they include the time they drive there and back. Not a good business practice!! Then I ask for a COI, he only sends a standard one. Too lazy to ask his insurance to put the name on the certificate as requested by my customer. Finally, he cancels the pick up one day before he committed to doing the work. Says his other jobs are bigger than he thought. Save yourself a ton of agony, call Navis instead!!!"
