"I called the office about 30 minutes before my appointment time to tell them that I would be running 10 minutes late. I asked if that would be okay or if I should reschedule - they reassured me that I should still come and that they would make a note that I called in my chart. I got there about 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. After waiting a few minutes for the receptionist to get off the phone and for them to help the patient ahead of me in line, I checked in at the front desk. The receptionist told me that Dr. Kies had a “strict 10 minute policy” and WOULD NOT see me. Even after calling ahead, she still did not see me and told me to reschedule my appointment for a different day. I had the respect to call ahead and make her aware that I would be running 10 minutes late. Why was I not informed of this “10 minute” policy over the phone when I asked? Why was there no respect for my time driving there? I will not be returning, as this experience made me lose trust in our doctor patient relationship."

"I had hernia surgery two days ago. I was given 15 pain pills and told to take 1 every 4 hours, 60 hours worth of pills. Immediately post surgery, one pill was not enough, and I was still in a great deal of pain. For the first few doses I took 1.5 or 2 pills. Knowing I was taking more and being worried about running out, I called the surgeon's office yesterday. The nurse told me the surgeon won't prescribe more. She told me I needed to contact my primary care physician to assess my pain and my needs. I was able to make an appointment with my primary care physician for today. I met with Dr. Jeanine Kies a couple of hours ago. She asked if I had been moving around. I explained to her I had been up and walking around at least every hour. Have been walking laps around the yard, but it is making the pain worse the more I'm up walking around. Dr. Kies said my pain would become less if I walked around more. I tried to explain that I am trying to do that, but I don't have any more pain medication and am experiencing very bad nerve pain shooting down my leg and that is making it difficult to keep walking. She told me she would not override what the surgeon prescribed and could not do anything to help with my pain. She told me I would need to contact the surgeon's office about pain management. I'm getting the run around, both places telling me to contact the other one. I'm in pain, I'm not going to go back and forth to different appointments, hoping someone can help me. It was painful enough to go to my appointment today. Every person is different. The amount of medication that works for one person may be different than what works for another person. It is just disgusting that I can't get any help with the post surgery pain I'm experiencing. I'm not some druggie looking to get high, but that is how the medical system treats everyone when they say they are in pain. The recommended "take Tylenol" isn't doing much. I will not be returning to see Dr. Jeanine Kies as my primary care physician ever again."

"Whenever they require me to have an appointment to get my prescription they never tell me as I call it in and don't tell me i need an appointment until i call them asking for my prescription. Ever since Doctor Urlakis left they have went down hill fast."

"I've been with Dr. Jeanine Kies since 2017. She has been an understanding and helpful doctor who provides options for care. I also appreciate her holistic and honest approach, which I believe comes from her personal experience of having health concerns and her training as a doctor of osteopathic medicine. I've learned much about how to better care for myself under her treatment. I've always been respected and listened to by Dr. Kies. I'm perplexed by the recent reviews as I have always had good care from my doctor and the Froedtert Health system."

"I had a lab prescription, called and scheduled a lab appointment. When I was arrived and checked in, I was told they cannot do my lab, because the doctor Dr. Kenneth Urlakis left. I had a glucose order, so I have been fasting as the scheduler told me. I almost fainted because I have not eaten anything for so long. After calls, I finally got the lab done at 11am. I am not upset with the lab tech or anyone particular. It is just the system that they did not have a transition for the patients."
