OneMain Financial 1821 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville, CA 95661

"I applied for a small loan. I spoke with a loan officer named Chelsea, at the Roseville office. My credit score is fair, but well over the 600 required. I forwarded bank statements, ID, info. on my car and income. She got back to me and indicated that they could not count my employment income, as I am a part time independent contractor. This makes up half of my income, the rest of which is pension and Social Security. She also indicated that they could not include my savings or my house, which is almost paid off and valued at more than $400,000. She later got back to me and indicated that after crunching numbers, she could offer me $5,100, unsecured or $8,100, using my car, as collateral. We scheduled an appointment to meet, several days later. As I was driving to my appointment, Chelsea contacted me and told me they could not help me, at this time. Since being turned down, they have been bombarding me with additional loan offers, via email and when I called the Roseville office telling them to remove me from their email list, I was told there is nothing they can do about it."

"I was two weeks late on a payment. I had already notified an employee of the estimated time of my late payment. The morning of the day I was going to pay (day 15) the “person in charge” called my BOSS My boss told me someone had called his number asking for me Called back to find out it was one main. I asked her if she would stop calling my boss to which she replied “are you going to make your payment?” Payment has been made now and I called back to talk to her boss and she told me there was nobody higher to talk to. “I can connect you to customer service if you want” She replied Infuriating, I will NEVER do business with them again. 3 or more calls/ day starting at day 5. These people are sick"

"If you are willing to pay high interest to pay down debt or whatever your situation may be, than the loan is worth it. So far, the company has been good, there is room for improvement. They hardly ever answer their phones, but when someone finally does they resolve your issue. Their website is just ok, it doesn't update with your payment information nor provide much information about your account but you can view your statements and they do have a good rewards program. I have already received my gift cards for participating in the rewards program."
