Palms Elementary School

"If you love your kids and worry about their education then find them a better school. Last year my 2 boys were there and the school was so bad that first chance I got I took my oldest son out and transferred him to a different school. So I thought, only one more year for my other son at Palms and then he can go to better school. No way, Palms is the worst school ever, my son got hurt 3 times the same week at school and even though he got punched and hit on the face he was told every time it was an accident. My son signed up for a play and with out any notifications to parents they just canceled, thank God my son has a phone and called for me to pick him up or else he would have been there for one hour waiting. I called the school and the person that answered tells me it was cancelled 2 weeks ago which is impossible since 2 weeks ago I talked to the principal about the play and she didn’t say anything at all. Bad school, some teachers are excellent but office staff and school staff are rude not only with adults, they are with children too. If you are thinking, “ stop complaining and go to the district and speak up”. Well I did a few weeks ago and I’m still waiting on the call back for the appointment for a meeting with the assistant. Running out of options my son will be going to a private school or charter school next year but definitely not there."

"This school is the worst school there is. There are girls fighting, talking bad about other people and people bully me and my friend(I am a student). My mom has tolled the staff multiple times this is going on and the don't do anything about it. I hate this school. The people don't have respect. The principal doesn't evan do anything about this. This school should be taken down."

"First year at palms elementary school and everything was good until today. As i am dropping my kids to school at 7:50am thinking that they are going straight to class because its pouring outside plus wind. i see all of the other students bunched up under a tent. 7:55am they get dismissed to the lines instead of just sending them to class they get to wait in the rain untill the teachers come to get them. the kids had to wait 3 to 5 min. i know kids love the rain and dont care but when they are sick and cant go to school. not even when i went to school we had to wait outside. we went straight to class. I called the office they gave me the omg the kids are outside? Story And that principal was not in. Its the second time i try getting in contact with the principal and i haven't even got a call back from the first time. Teachers are great but the front staff and the principal are not."
