"First grade teachers put me through hell"
"My son went here from kindergarten until half of his third grade year. He was diagnosed with ADHD and ODD while in the second grade. The school was aware of both diagnosis; however, they did not care. They offered him 0 help. I take that back. They only offered help by allowing him more time on tests.He was constantly bullied and in trouble and they did nothing about it. Kids shunned him and made fun of him because he displayed typical ADHD behaviors (interrupting, not waiting his turn, being bored walking around the class, not thinking before he acts, etc). They would even sit him in the hallway by himself for him to read or complete his work alone. They just labeled him a problem. I withdrew him from the school after being told by the principal, Mrs Agopian, that he was a problem. I enrolled him at a school nearby and they have been more than helpful. They understand that not every child fits inside a little box and each child has specific needs. Its very hard to get people to accept ADHD as a disability I think because they appear "normal" and seem to be in control when in fact their brains are wired differently. If your child has any disability I would not recommend this school. You will be looked down upon by a principal who's husband (William Douglas Agopian) once embezzled money ($700,000)."
