"I grew up around the corner on Cedar and Comstock. I got to know Mike pretty well once I started playing competitively at Berkeley High in 2004. He is as kind, genuine, and knowledgeable as they come. I’ve spent the past 10 years working in the golf industry; whether as a PGA Class A Professional (on staff with TaylorMade and Callaway) and PGA HOPE Instructor on the green grass side of the industry at three Bay Area Country Clubs, and a PXG Master Fitter. As for the gentleman who complained about Mike’s email, I’d hope he realizes how he contradicted himself; further clarifying after Mike asked a fair, pointed question. It’s a confusing review with no merit. My experience has taught me how immensely knowledgeable Mike is. You don’t get personalized, individual business relationships anymore. Mike is the exception. "I live right next to this shop. I called to get my 6 iron bent flat to fit the rest of my set. A guy named Micheal answered and laughed at the proposition of bending a single club. Proceeded to be pretty condescending and eventually said “not a good use of his time.” I guess it’s hard to find people willing to work for their money these days. Lost a potential lifetime customer. Will take my business elsewhere"
