"Soon as the pandemic hit I was in need of a new hobby and found myself returning to skates. With the help of the folks down at Quad Republic I was able to build a pair of my own from some tennis shoes I bought online. They were built pretty sturdy and are super secure. Rating 4 stars only because of the wait time for the plate needed underneath the shoe (which is uncomfortable as hell) took forever to arrive. Probably not their fault, but no one ever followed up to let me know when to expect something…… all in all I’m pleased."
