"I was referred here by tricare and I called and they told me the soonest time they would be able to see me is in seven months. All I needed was a routine eye exam. I was going to call tricare again and change the referral to somewhere more reasonable when they called and said they had a last minute cancelation in one hour. I took off work and called my kids daycare and went on incredibly short notice. When I got there I ended up waiting for over an hour anyways. The woman in front of me was also waiting for over an hour when they told her it would be another half hour before she could be seen the woman told the assistant that this happens to her every time she's here and the assistant was incredibly rude. When the woman left because she couldn't continue to wait the women at the front desk all started to giggle and laugh and make jokes about it. It was one of the most unprofessional things I've ever seen in a medical office. There was an incredible lack of humanity and professionalism with the woman at the front. I wouldn't recommend this place if you value your time or if you value being spoken to with compassion. Eventually I asked if I would be seen soon because I really needed to pick up my kid and my appointment was supposed to be over an hour ago at that point. They were a little more polite to me but when I finally got called it was VERY apparent they have a revolving door mentality. The doctor was polite and personable but so rushed and it showed. Overall, the doctor was very polite and thorough for the 10 minutes that I saw him despite being in the building for almost two hours in total, most of which was just waiting."

"À year later and I'm still trying to get on disability because did Absolutely nothing for me when I went there went there so you guys can tell disability that I'm lm legally blind my eye l prescription which almost negative 6 in one eye and almost negative 9 in the other. You guys didn't bother to tell to stop driving oh no it's perfectly normal for everyone and everything to be blurry kiil someone then I get to sue you guys for not telling not to drive.but what did tell disability that mit my vision isn't bad enough. Now I have to keep applying for disability because they all think I can see and work work. Because it was just to hard for you guys do your job.and tell disability legally blind and I should stop driving. Now I'm going broke and going to loose my house because I can't work because I can't read anything can't afford another Eye doctor so they can tell me I'm legally blind so I can get on disability which you guys should of done from the start. Because the disability website says to be legally blind you have to a prescription of 2.00 or worse to legally blind and I would say. Mine is way worse this guy clearly had no idea what he was doing or didn't care about doing his job right it would be great if he would do his job and tell disability I'm legally blind and now it's going to take a another year and which I'm definitely going to loose my house.all because it's to hard for someone to make sure there job . So thank you guys for doing Absolutely nothing for me but getting disability way harder I've never had a eye doctor be this unprofessional and un willing to there do there job eye doctor shouldn't be this Complicated I"

"This place is so problematic. They will surprise you with charges at the end even though they admit they should’ve told you before that part of the service. Following up, I tried to get some help with contact lenses and was told nobody was available all day. I read another review that said this is the IN N OUT of eye centers. the difference is in n out makes a good product, albeit quickly."

"Everyone is always friendly, knowledgeable and professional. You are never made to feel they are rushing through your appointment to get on to the next patient. My wait time in the lobby after check-in was less than 10 minutes and once I was brought to the exam room I never waited more than 5 minutes for the Techs or the doctor. Shepards seems to have the only Practitioners in town that realize the patients time is valuable also. I have and will continue to recommend Shepard Eye Center."
