To celebrate the release of DUNE: Part 2, the theatre is featuring a series of the best deep-space science fiction films. Tickets can be purchased online or at the theatre, with a fast check-in process using a QR code.
Doors open 30 minutes before each show, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy special pre-roll programming. Once checked in, guests can choose their seats and order food and drinks from concessions. Options include pizza, beer, soda, cocktails, candy, and of course, amazing popcorn.

"It's a nice theatre that puts on some old classics from time to time. The prices are always reasonable and price of food are great too. It has a nice classic vibe. A great place to have in La Crosse. Selection are a little limited and cleanliness isn't the best. This isn't the place for you if you are seeking a modern, updated cinema experience."
"I like this place a lot. Cheap movies and a decent beer selection along with pretty tasty pizza. Some of the seats are uncomfortable but just try another and u will be fine. Sure wish they could update the bathrooms but my guess is that would open a can of worms. Riv forever!"
"Very quant movie theater. Popcorn was definitely stale and over buttered but who doesn’t love a good beer and a movie. A missed opportunity on my part not going to the pizza place attached to this place but i was out voted by my group. I will be back to try the pizza. It smelled divine!"
"Neat atmosphere and good prices. The pizza is good but the heat was broken I guess on one of the coldest days in January and the theater was very cold. No one warned us that the we would be wearing our winter coats and still be cold. Otherwise, we love the Rivoli."
"Long time fan, first time attendance. We saw "It's a Wonderful Life" on the big screen after a lifetime of DVD on TV. THANK YOU to the Riv for bringing back cult classics, old, and treasured movies to watch again in a theater."
