Banning RV Park & Campground

"Stopped in over the weekend in hopes to find a spot to tent camp. I got lucky to find an availability! The overall park and bathroom/showers was good. I didn’t love the price for pitching a tent for the night BUT, It’s was a great place for something in a pinch. I loved Rick, he was funny and helped me in all the ways he could. I will keep this place in mind for the future."

"I will never be back. My tent site was overgrown. You can’t even tell it’s a site. We were told to upgrade to an RV site and paid about $80 extra so the weekend is not ruined. The place is huge and not maintained."

"We made a last-minute reservation for 2 sites on a Saturday morning at this campground. We were relieved that the sites were available since other parks in the area were booked. On our arrival we received a cordial greeting from the manager who accommodated us in our request to stay an hour past checkout the following morning. Our grassy pull through site was surprisingly level, the water pressure and electric were satisfactory and there was little traffic noise. It had rained earlier in the day, but our sites were dry. The cg seemed to be a mix of long term and transient guests. We were unable to get a strong wifi signal from the campground, but T-Mobile and Verizon worked well. The cg is close to I-35 making it easy to continue our travels."

"The campground is pretty big. Alot of the sites are too narrow. We had water pressure issues at our lot. A lot of the sites are trees. For the kids there is a playground. A pool would be nice as there is no swimming around. There is a store , bar and grill across the street . They do have a pavilion with 2 family bathrooms that are nice. I did use another bathroom in the back where we stayed. They have a double sewer dump which is helpful."
