"One-hundred plus year old , five story, Single Room Occupancy (SRO) low cost housing in Los Angeles's Westlake North community. Managed by DTLA-based Abode Communities low-income housing developer & operator. Historic, high ceilings, brick, Normandy style architecture that's one of the earliest buildings built with an elevator as a part of it's design; not much to see and difficult for visitors to enter. (Office is on 2nd floor but staff not always in office)."
"I lived there in the early 1950's...was a wonderful experience and met other young working girls from all over the world. Pinkerton Guard there for safety and was by a bus stop."
