"As others have noted Loni is a wonderful host and educator. Visiting this alpaca farm will be something we do every visit to Duluth. The herd of alpacas are so cool, even though they are really protective of their space and being touched. Spoiler alert, they are not a petting critter. But they are super interesting! Their eyes are captivating. Their mop top is one of their many traits that just makes one happy! If you love big animals go visit!!! The gift shop is perfect for shopping for yourself, or for others, for unique quality items. Thank you Loni for educating and entertaining us."

"I visited 9/6/20 with my girlfriend and had no idea what to expect as I simply stumbled upon the place thanks to Google Maps and was curious what alpacas were doing in Minnesota. We were let into the stables upon arrival and got an up close and personal experience with the alpacas. Loni (owner) gave us a personal tour of the stables and an education on alpacas for a solid 1+ hour (tours are free). It was such an unexpected, cool, and educational experience for us and I recommend a visit if you’re on the fence about visiting. I ended up buying an alpaca hat for the winter from the gift shop on my way out. Well worth the time and money spent! Looking forward to stopping by on future Duluth visits. Note, the stables are only open Friday through Sunday."
