Reviews
"Really cool sculpture just sitting randomly at one of the lake of Golden Gate Park. A+ weird art."
"What a surprise find. This architectural piece is quite interesting in that I don't see any actual function other than for artistic display. Although there is not much to see, because it's literally just a fancy gothic gateway frame. But if you are a photographer like me, you can take some really cool photos of this gateway opening to nowhere with nothing but dirt behind it. But it is precisely this that I love it... perhaps it's really a portal to the past before human have civilization. This is not a well know place even by the SF locals, and it offers a nice serene walk by the Lloyd Lake that is literally green. And you can find turtles and duck all around it. If you happen to be in the area, it's definitely worth the visit."
"I found this place buy accident while I was on my daily walk in golden gate park. I love how the water is so green and depending on where you are coming from there is a waterfall before this lake. I then followed the little stream of water to see where it led to. I was very pleased when I found it led here to Lloyd lake. Saw lots of wildlife and this place actually wasn't packed at all."
"We went for a wedding and the place was very beautiful. The pictures we got are so nice and the environment around is peaceful, colorful and perfect for an outdoor meeting. After the ceremony we went to the other side to use some tables for the reception and everything went fine. The wedding planner was able to reserve the tables in advance for a fair price. Late at night, the sprinklers went on and almost got us wet, but it was already late, so... All good."
"An interesting monument from pre-1906 earthquake."
