About the Business

Luther Park Bible Camp is a unique outdoor ministry affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) located in the picturesque town of Chetek, Wisconsin. Established in 1932, Luther Park's Lakeside site spans 10 acres along Prairie Lake and serves as the main hub for a variety of events and programs throughout the year. From retreats and weddings to summer camps, the camp offers a range of activities for people of all ages to enjoy.

With 15 buildings including a Dining Hall, Chapel, Retreat Facilities, and Cabins, Luther Park provides a cozy Northwoods atmosphere for visitors. Situated on the shores of Prairie Lake, the camp also boasts amenities such as a swimming pool, ropes courses, archery, and a disc golf course.

In addition to the Lakeside site, Luther Park Bible Camp owns two other locations for outdoor adventures. The Farm Center, a historic farm across from the main site, features ropes courses, gardens, and hiking trails. Luther Woods, a 320-acre untouched paradise in Birchwood, Wisconsin, offers primitive camping and nature exploration opportunities.

"BEWARE - Recently had to cancel my reservation for a quilt retreat which is scheduled in Sept (one month out). I was told by Mikki, new front desk representative, that there was a waiting list for this retreat. She transferred me to Eric (new employee) to get a refund on my deposit. He informed me that my deposit was non refundable, that was not stated in the brochure. He tried to get me to use it for a future retreat. I’m not sure if I will return. He is running Luther Park like a business not a ministry. He stated that they lose money on the quilt retreats. He made me feel like we were taking advantage of this camp. Sounds as though there will be changes and not very ministry-like. I miss Lisa’s kind, generous and welcoming personality. Time will tell if I will get my deposit refunded."
