"I personally had meet the owner back in 2018 in the office thinking maybe this company can manage my units….really bad impression on the owner- old, snobbish guy who shows little interest to take my business- making the whole meeting so awkward that even his assistant manager guy sent me an email thereafter trying to to save the opportunity…at that point I really felt sorry for these guys who work for him because the owner is like a cold-blooded dictator who look down everyone even including his potential client. "From the time I reached out to Chamberlain in attempt to inquire about a property I wanted to rent through them until now after my lease has ended, I’ve had nothing but the best experience. "We scheduled a viewing with Chamberlain property management and we were running 8 minutes late. When we got to the property someone let us know that the manager had just left. All we had was the automated system phone number and no way to directly contact the person we were meeting. We tried to call the office but could not get ahold of anyone and all the phones were off due to a company wide meeting. When we finally reached the property manager, she tried to tell us it was our fault for being late and that we should have called her to let her know we were still coming (she had our number, we did not have hers). We drove 45 minutes to see the unit and were very disappointed and frustrated with the entire interaction. The viewing appts are all in 15 minute blocks, so you would think they would at least wait that long to leave. We will probably avoid chamberlain properties as our first experience was so bad I couldn’t imagine what it is like if you are their renter and need something fixed."

"Update: Was called back and it was explained that the owner chose someone who submitted their app through their website. They have no policy in place on their end for last minute cancelations, despite requiring confirmations on the prospective client's part. It's at the sole direction of the owner. I requested the tour on Zillow which prevented me from applying until I toured, I never even had a chance. Now that I'm aware of this, I have the option of paying the application fee up front on their site and applying to properties I don't inspect first. I can always transfer that app to another property if I don't like it but it seems like a rather monetary focused process rather than a people focused one. To their credit, they offered to reach out to me with other properties in the area I'm looking for and apologized for my time this process has wasted. OP: Canceled on me for a property tour for the 3rd time. Confirmed the tour with me 30min prior. Tour was scheduled 2 weeks ago and I took valuable PTO that I could have used elsewhere. Left a message with them for similar past incidents with no response, doubt I'll get one this time. Company has commitment issues and does not respect prospective clients. Look elsewhere."

"I have been living at one of Chamberlain's properties for a over three years now. They have been the best, most accommodating and reliable property management team I have ever rented from. It is very easy to get in touch with staff in case of normal maintenance and even emergencies. They have great software systems for payment, maintenance requests and new roommate agreements. Highly recommend!"
