"I wish I could give less stars. Neighbors fight in the middle of the night and there were rats in the attic. I let management know that there were rats and it needed to be inspected. They let me know they would inspect. It took over two weeks for them to get pest control to inspect. The pest control said there were multiple rats and put bait/traps. After two more weeks, there were still rats. Each time there was rat poop in the apartment from them accessing the attic and big animal hair (rat, opossum?) which I showed to management. They would wake me up throughout the night and were in the attic and under the bathtub. Management never followed up with me, I had to keep reaching out to them and none of them had communicated about the problem. I asked to move out a month early and to not have to pay rent for the rest of the contract for the inconveniences management caused. They agreed, but when I got my deposit back, they charged me over $1,000 in carpeting which was used but nothing out of the ordinary for apartments and $220 for paint. They charge $10 a month that you live there for the paint on your walls.I understand taking some money for the carpeting, but they also made false claims. Anyway, instead of getting any rent money back and some security deposit, I got only $200 back. I moved out early because of the unsanitary rat issues for myself and so that they could have time to eradicate before having a new tenant move in and that’s how they repay me. Hopefully this this issue gets solved for future tenants."
"Extremely overwhelmed and frustrated in not finding any parking inside the complex. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO ENFORCE TENANTS NOT TO USE THE GARAGE AS A STORAGE SPACE."
"These apartments are over priced and pretty old. Lightly renovated. Management will charge high move-out fees that don't make sense. There were some weird/sketchy neighbors and pools were always busy with lots of kids. Not what I expected and would not consider moving here again"
"Racial Discrimination!! - we’ve lived here for almost a year and the experience has been horrible. Not only there’s spiders and ants everywhere, paints are bad quality and often times sticks so much you can’t even open the drawers. But everything above we were able to tolerate but until this happened today. We are Asians and since the day we moved in we’ve received dirty looks from the staff team, almost seems like we’re on their radar 24/7. And 2 days ago we have some Indians friend come visit and they’ve expressed the same feelings. And then on the same day, we’ve received a notice of 3 days eviction?! We’ve came to the leasing office and try to find a resolution and see what’s going on, and during our conversation. We’ve been called the “Fxxking Asian” by the leasing manager Madison in the office right in our face and they forcefully try to remove us from the leasing office while we’re just trying to figure something out and do not want to be kick out/homeless in 3 days?! We’ve been paying rent on time and everything etc. This is extremely disrespectful and racist. If you’re person of color and would love to stay somewhere that you won’t be treated differently. Please consider other apartment community options and not here. We do not feel safe nor comfortable living here at all."
"I've lived at Westridge Apartments for about three years now. I have never had an issue with the staff. They maintain the property and regularly have workers working on the premises cutting the trees or trimming the bushes. The staff is friendly and always promptly responds to my maintenance request, wethers its something minor or major. If it does require significant work, they communicate the expected time frame. They spray the property for insects, and the staff is constantly picking up trash or fixing something. The pools are always clean. When yearly maintenance needs to be completed in your unit, they notify, email, and even call you. The parking situation is better since it's now 1st come, 1st serve. I have never had an issue finding parking during the week or weekend.I loved that they changed the laundry card readers to a contactless/mobile app makes it super easy to do laundry now. Westridge caters to a diverse community from various backgrounds, and living here has been a pleasure. I recommend it to families and working professionals."
