"It's a ghetto here. The management is hostile and unconcerned with the problems. We had a meeting with new management who let us know that it is OUR fault there are bedbugs and that the carpet in halls are BLACK with filth. Why does that matter? Just fix the problem. They rent to ANYBODY. My neighbor and his drunk friends regularly hassle me, the fourth floor is crawling with bed bugs, cockroaches and rats. and NO, I am not saying this because I am mad.I am saying because I am scared to death. I am saying this to save anyone else from moving in here not knowing what it is really like. Homeless people sleep where ever they can tuck themselves into, and some of the tenants, my neighbor for example, are very mentally ill and addicted to substances. Those neighbors invite homeless people in, hence the crime, violence, and pest infestation. I am going to get out of here as soon as I possible can but I may have to wait till the lease is up. If you don't believe me about the bed bugs and violence, the management will have you sign papers releasing them from any liability for the bug issues, and a violence for women packet. Gotta admire the pro active legalization of constructing a slum. By the way, this is a senior complex. Easy pickings for crime and the criminals in the area know that. Practically everyone I talked to have had their places, or their friends places broken into. There are pry marks on the back patio door in my place. It is filthy, unsafe, and hostile. Save yourself. Don't move here. There is probably a reason there is no waiting list to get in here and every other senior community I looked at did.....STAY AWAY!"

"My mom and step Dad just recently just signed their lease here. Overall the apartments themselves are nice. The availability was incredibly convenient considering the long waits at most senior apartments complexes. Generally, the staff has been very friendly. Some fairly major downsides so far: early on a Saturday, it appeared that a resident had an accident in the hallway. There was a large amount of feces in front of my parents' apartment and some already appeared to have been tracked through the area. My mother put in an emergency maintenance request on Saturday and Sunday and was told she would be emailed a response. She never received any email. Maintenance did not clean up the feces until Monday morning. I understand weekend emergency requests must be handled according to urgency, but feces sitting in the hallway for two days (especially during the summer) is a pretty significant health risk (biohazard and slip/fall risk). Maintenance may need to align on what is considered an emergency, as this obviously should have been given higher priority. As others have stated, the hallways are already stinky and stuffy, so you can imagine how unsanitary they truly are if feces were allowed to sit for literally multiple days. Additionally, several of the repairs that were noted during the apartment walk-through have yet to be completed (about 2.5 weeks and counting). Some of them have been completed, which leads me to believe that maintenance has already written off the other requests and likely won't complete them without a complaint. Again, the apartments themselves are actually pretty nice all things considered. However, there are some pretty significant aspects that need some work. I know there is a changing of the guard in the front office management. My hope is that new management will help shuffle priorities to fix these more significant issues. For now, we can only give this place two stars at best."

"Pool and spa have been inoperable for over a year. Wheelchair lift by elevator stairs has also been inoperable for over a year. Hallway carpets are dirty, stained and smell. Many homeless people lurking around grounds, in the lobby and in parking garages. Many, many people let their dogs relieve themselves in the underground parking and it rarely gets cleaned up. On the plus side, management is fairly quick to respond to service requests but this really doesn't make up for the filthy areas and lack of pool/spa when it is included in rent, but not functional."

"This place is getting worse. Management services is bad. Maintenance is worse. The place is infested with roaches. Security is poor. The homeless trash the place and roam freely throughout the complex. They started working on the pool and jacuzzi a few months ago, as well as the courtyard. For whatever reason, all work has stopped. No explanation. Patio/Pool furniture is stacked along the fence and some work tools just left lying around. I Repeat, No explanation given or offered"
