Alize at Aliso Viejo Apartment Homes

"Alize was a nice, clean, quiet apartment complex when I first moved in back in 2018. Has only gone downhill since. Maintenance are usually nice when you submit a ticket, but don't do an excellent job. There was a time 2 years ago when water leaked from the 2nd floor bathroom and ever since then the walls would grow moldy, even from the walk in closet. I didn't renew my lease this year since it's constantly being increased and the value wasn't worth it anymore. Plus I needed to find a place with more rooms for a growing family. Reason why I'm leaving 1 star is because they charge you 173 for carpet cleaning (when I think they usually replace them anyways), then another 150 for janitorial cleaning, and then added another 120 for misc items and because I moved out back in December but still had a lease until 2/4/24, I stopped my utilities and gas early. They will charge you a premium on that too."

"Where do I begin? After we moved in we noticed little things broken here and there... The outside light switch was broken, ceiling fan was a little wobbly, shade for patio door has a couple broken pieces, door handles loose etc. But after a couple months we noticed the mold in every window, plumbing issues, our sink kept clogging and garbage disposal doesn't work. The fridge keeps leaking water all over your food inside and the ice maker barely fills the container after 24 hours. As im writing this reveiw my entire kitchen is flooded with gross, stinky water from the sink overflowing everywhere! This place is an absolute joke! The apartments are old and falling apart. For what you pay $$$ its DEFINITELY NOT worth living here for even a month! By far the worst apartment I've ever rented in almost 40 years on earth. The floor plans are nice and spacious and the Leasing office team is very friendly... But those are the only positives you will find other than maybe a nice, safe location. If you're thinking about possibly moving here I would RUN not walk to a different complex!!!"

"I am updating my review to lower stars because now they started having workers yell at each other and be incredibly loud and rude before 8 am on SATURDAYS now. I noticed they did improve on the noise with the gardeners so thank you for that. This is the loudest place ever. The walls here are so thin you hear everything. People walking upstairs ? Yes you hear them. If you work late or like sleeping in the morning at all ? good luck. The gardeners are the worst! make so much noise almost EVERY MORNING. Like what else could you possibly do to the grass that often!? Plus on certain days they use a broken lawn mower that has a high pitch squeaking noise.. sounds like a blow horn! …just rude to be making that much noise everyday . Like pick 1 day or do it later. We actually like the apartment but if you actually want to see in your shower they told us YOU HAVE TO BUY YOUR OWN LIGHT. Seriously ? So we did cuz who likes to shower in the dark!? Maintenance is great otherwise very nice and comes pretty fast."

"overall, a terrible place to live. you will be living next to a school where all day, you will hear young children screaming outside from 8:30-4. You can hear everything because the walls are so thin, plus the management is not helpful whatsoever. Also, the gardeners are outside your window every two days at 8AM making the most noise possible. not a great experience or apartment for the price tag. i warned you!"
