"Highly aggressive dalmation allowed to roam. Without a leash. Has attempted to attack me multiple times as I was trying to enter or leave my apartment. The owner of the dog is also allowed to leave their door open knowing full well that their aggressive dalmatian likes to chase and harass the neighbors and their service animals. This aggressive dog is the sole reason that my family doesn't come to visit. It tried to get through a window to bite my elderly mother the 1 time she visited a year ago, she has refused to come back because of it. This dalmation and the terrible visibility from the street side gate are the only downsides of this community. Everything else has been amazing."
"Overall Lakewood Village Apartments is a nice place to live. I guess this really depends on who your neighbors are but for the most part it's a quiet place. Some Cons: The gates to the parking lots frequently break and are left open all night which then attracts some shady people digging through the trash bins. Rent is increased yearly (more than 5% each year) Want to sleep in on Saturday morning? You can forget about it. The lawn maintenance crew will be there to wake you up bright and early every week. There is no guest parking, although there is plenty of street parking. Leaving the parking lot is VERY dangerous. Cars are always parked on the street and block your view of traffic both ways. It's always the same car that parks right up to the edge of the driveway and blocks your view. This person is also such a skilled driver that they don't park straight but at a weird angle to block even more of your view."
