"The property manager is racist. I have seen him talk down and demand from other people of color in the area. He is large hefty guy, long hair. Hispanic male. Tucked in shirt. Clean shaven. Absolutely rude to everyone. Almost no common sense to keep the business running if he really is manager"

"Pros: extremely affordable. Lease terms are clear, concise and done online. Can pay rent online and set up auto payments as well. Management communication is fair. Responsive to voicemails and emails within a couple of hours, if you reach out during business hours. There’s a pool... I haven’t used it myself but have seen/heard folks splashing around. There’s 2 laundry areas sort of in the courtyard underneath an awning, 1 w/d each. I’ll wash my rugs and car drying towels here, but since it’s technically in the open (and people tend to leave the washer lid open) I’ll probably never wash my actual clothes there. There’s a full laundry room near the pool. 1 assigned park, which is quite spacious. Some units have storage with their parking and some don’t, it seems. Apartments are super spacious, tend to have new carpet, etc. Cons: overflowing trash area downstairs, typically a roach or 3 running around near it and smells awful. Roaches in actual units (from fellow tenants I’ve heard that some only see one “every so often” now after trying a variety of measures over several months). The mail room has one door that leads to the parking area and is locked (yay!) while the other leads directly to the street and is never locked. Good luck knowing if the person who walked in after you or who’s idly waiting by the main gate upstairs lives there, is visiting, or is there to do harm. Also, I’ve seen the parking gate be broken and stuck open about once a month."
