"Bill & Randy are really nice guys, but I will no longer bring my vehicles there. They're good for oil changes, brake jobs, etc but IMO their diagnostic & troubleshooting skills are lacking when it comes to big major repair work. They completely misdiagnosed an engine problem on one of our vehicles and said the engine needed to be replaced. Rather than spend $2500 - $3000 on a used engine for a vehicle whose blue book value was under $3000, I decided to sell it to someone for a few hundred dollars who wanted to use it for parts. Turns out that he ended up taking it to a different garage, and they did repairs/replacements costing less than $800 and now the vehicle is running perfectly again. I have seen the vehicle since it was repaired, and it is running just fine now. I made a (wrong) decision to get rid of the vehicle based on Conrad Motor's incorrect diagnosis and recommendations, and basically gave it away to someone who was able to get it running again for way less than what I was told it would cost. I would have paid the $800 to have it fixed properly if the problem had been properly diagnosed, but now I'm stuck with no other option than to replace the vehicle and take out another auto loan. Because of this major misdiagnosis which resulted in the loss of a much-needed vehicle, I cannot give Conrad Motors a good rating and do not recommend them."
