"Edited to add: i added a star here, because the apartments were ethical when I moved out, and returned most of the security deposit. The place is rather safe and neighbors are nice. However, it is not AT ALL family friendly. Lots of cars driving at high speed and constant complaints from management that children should not be playing near the house ( excuse me, where are they supposed to play?). The moment a tenant complains of minor noise, you will get written notices on your door and phone calls. I would Not recommend this place to anyone with children: your stress levels will be high even though the neighborhood kids are wonderful. Laundry machines break on a regular basis, yet they don’t get replaced. They still use quarters for laundry. Cockroaches come into my apartment very frequently, even though we regularly have to call pest control to fumigate ( which in and of itself is a big hassle, I have to empty all my cabinets each time). There are no air filters and mold in the air ducts. Every time I take a shower, there is dirty liquid draining from my air vent. A lot of my neighbors have mold, and apparently they are blamed for its appearance. My parking spot is dangerous with a major blind spot, I kept asking for a safety mirror yet despite promises,it never got installed. I just have to hope and pray every time I park or leave my spot, and have already damaged my car because of it ( the picture attached is the view from my parking spot, I have to back into it in a Z-curve). The place is in dire need of maintenance, my neighbors recently had to move out for 2 weeks due to massive water damage, the roof nearly fell through, and furniture was ruined. The building next to mine had to be evacuated for a couple of days due to rocks and a tree falling next to it. Yet, the rent keeps increasing on a yearly basis- it seems like the company wants to get as much as possible out of this place without any investment whatsoever."
